LifeBridge Fiduciary Services

Many people, for differing reasons, are uncertain to whom they should give legal authority to make important decisions in the event of their incapacity or death. Perhaps it is because they do not have a family member who is willing and able to take on the role. It may be because their family members are unsuitable for one reason or another. Sometimes, a backup to a suitable family member is desired. Whatever the reason, a Professional Fiduciary may be the solution.

Professional fiduciaries manage money, and oftentimes difficult people and situations. There are plenty of traditional families, blended families and dysfunctional families that are faced with an abundance of problems and issues when there is money in an estate to be protected and invested. Sometimes, an older or vulnerable adult does not have children, does not live near them, or doesn’t feel comfortable entrusting these matters to the children. Sometimes relationships among siblings or other relatives create strife. Sometimes, the adult child has special needs and the parent wants to ensure continuity for that child in the event of the parent’s disability or death.
